Try Science

A cool site I came across looking for some sound expirements.

It seems to be a bit like the bbc online experiments. But there are some games, allow some more interaction as well.

Worth a look I think.

PhotoStory 3

An amazing programme and so easy to use.

It can create the illusion of moving pictures from stills.

It can allow you to tell stories.

You can add music and sound to it as well.

Its a very powerful tool, that can provide excellent stimulation for children.

Here's one I made in about 5 minutes. Imagine asking children to write descriptions or poems about fireworks after seeing this.

Download it here.

Till next time...

Litearcy Links

Recently I attended an interesting day at Redbridge Teachers Centre, led by John Davitt.

He was talking about the New Literacy Primary Framework and how to embed ICT more completely into Literacy. Using Video and Images

Below are some links I found to some great talking books and enjoyable videos.

This has some excellent videos to watch and a good talking book. One of the video is a great story about Halloween and some pumpkin people. :)
